Our Firm
At Pierce & Howell, our attorneys focus on business and contract law for small to mid-size companies, LLCs, and sole proprietorships. In addition to advising on general business law concerns, we can assist with setting up a business, provide guidance for mergers and consolidations, work to resolve business disputes and conflicts, and assist with and supervise litigation to achieve optimal client outcomes when necessary.

We also work with lenders, developers, businesses, business owners, and individuals to navigate the complexities of commercial and residential real estate transactions, disputes, and dispute resolutions.

Our attorneys have years of experience giving trusted legal advice on end-of-life and estate planning. Their expertise includes preparing and filing legal documents such as wills, living wills and powers of attorney, as well as providing counsel on trusts and guiding clients through the probate process.

Tyler L. Pierce | Partner
Tyler L. Pierce is a founding partner of Pierce & Howell. He focuses his practice in estate planning and probate. He also assists clients in commercial real estate matters, and offers expertise in corporate transactions, incorporation, and general business law concerns.

Tyler was raised in Brevard, NC. He attended the U.S. Air Force Academy and received his degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has lived in the Charlotte area since 2003, and currently lives in Matthews with his wife, Amber, and their two sons.
Wesley K. Howell | Partner
Wesley K. Howell is a founding partner of Pierce & Howell. His primary practice areas consist of commercial real estate transactions, contract drafting, and corporate law. He also works with clients on residential real estate closings, real property matter, business formations, and other business-related matters.
Wes was raised in Cherry Grove, SC, and earned his degree from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He has been a resident of Charlotte since 2010, where he lives with his wife, Danielle.
